Another thing to mention is that we are unforunately disabling all user comments in the forums and blogs until further notice.  The Oyaji Team is a very small team of indie developers.  We are hard at work on new projects and we do not have time to play “community manager”.  We love to receive comments from the fans, but we cannot continue to manage the sites and sift through thousands of spam comments daily.  We are currently seeking alternative ways for communication by the fans to the Oyaji Team.

We are disappointed that Push Notifications are still not coming in, but Oyaji Games is still working persistently until the problem is solved.

A quick definition about Push Notifications:  they are a system of sending messages to iPhone and iPod Touch devices that let players know that data is waiting for them.  In Mecho Wars, a Push Notification is sent to a player when a game requires attention.  For example, if you are engaged with another person in an online game, a message will be sent to your device when you are no longer running the game.  This means you are free to do other things while waiting for your opponent to make a move.

You are also free to put the device into “sleep mode” and wait for a message.  By doing this, you won’t have to restart the application.  Instead you can jump right back into the game and make your move.  A sound alert lets you know when it’s your turn, someone has joined your game, or someone has accepted your challenge!
